Matt and I attended the wedding of one of his childhood friends this past week. The wedding, which Matt was in, was held in Santa Barbara. The weather was sunny but cool and it was a nice get-a-way. Almost everywhere we were we cold see mountains and still smell the salty air...very different from the views you get around here. This was the most organized event I have ever been to and every detail was thought of. The rehearsal dinner was on the roof of our hotel. The next day was sports day at the boarding school that Ashley attended as a girl. The wedding was right off the beach and the reception was in an old barn...very cool. It was nice to go away and nice to return to our life here.
